For Immediate Release: Talented Sheep Audition for Video

Sheep strut their stuff for a shot at the big time.

Toronto, Ontario July 25, 2007 – Dozens of sheep flocked to an undisclosed Toronto studio this month, to audition for a starring role in a promotional video. Local authors Yvonne Collins and Sandy Rideout organized the city wide talent search to find the perfect mascot for their young adult novel, The Black Sheep.

Producing videos is a relatively new endeavor for this pair of co-authors, and there have been a number of unforeseen challenges. “It’s taken us weeks to clean up the floor of the studio,” said Collins.

Unfortunately, an appropriate mascot has not yet been found due to a directorial meltdown during the first round of auditions. Collins and Rideout regret the incident, claiming that sheep are a lot harder to work with than anyone had anticipated.

When their director has made a full recovery, Collins and Rideout will continue their search for the perfect mascot. In the meantime, you can watch the audition process on this website: http://www.collinsrideout.com/sheep.php#trailer,
